Saline Valley

The Saline Valley in the northern part of Death Valley National Park. This very remote area is incredible with Joshua Trees, huge descents, big temperature changes and the reward of hotsprings.

CAMPING

-Camp in designated places

FOOD/WATER

-Bring lots of water! There is no reliable water. 

NAVIGATION

-Used Ride with GPS app to follow route with phone mounted to handle bar

FYI

-We were very glad we brought goggles as we got caught in a sandstorm!

DIFFICULTY

-We did this on full suspension mountain bikes with 2.6" tires, but you could probably do this on a less aggressive bike

-Roads are technical with sharp rocks and loose, deep sand requires bigger tires.
